| His Challenge |
| SR is a 27 years old Singaporean. His last job was in Asset Liability Management where he
started as a Senior Associate and was quickly promoted to Assistant Vice
President after 6 months. He had a relative low GMAT score (610) and not much diversity in terms of work experience. |
| |
| How We Helped |
We helped him overcome his challenges through a 3-step process:
- Conduct an in-depth brainstorming process of his personal and professional experiences.
- Identify the most impactful stories from his past.
- Develop essays that distinct himself from other candidates.
SR was successfully accepted for the Jan 2010 INSEAD intake.

| His Challenge |
|
LV faced several challenges: he was in a business from which everyone was trying to get out and his GMAT score was lower than INSEAD's average. Furthermore, he was convinced that he only wanted to attend INSEAD, no other school would do: this shot had to make it. He had reviewed his profile and was sure that he had nothing special to set himself apart from the pack. Then he came to the Admit Zone.
|
| |
| How We Helped |
|
We first reviewed LV's life experiences from the beginning. It turned out that he had a very diverse international experience and had learned some salutary lessons about life for the less privileged at a very early age. Additionally, we reviewed his failures and discovered that he had not been introspective enough on his career missteps and that he was really seeking an MBA as only now in life did he feel ready to lead. His application was transformed and he was admitted to INSEAD.

| His Challenge |
|
|
HL had excellent military experiences, but had limited outside business exposure. As a result he was not so confident about his chances at the very best international MBA programs. His first choice, when he came to us, was well below his calibre and we convinced him to apply to IMD (his dream school).

|
| How We Helped |
|
|
We first worked with him on the GMAT exam for which he scored 720. We then spent time focussing on IMD and his application strategy. We helped him identify his "fit" to IMD. Thereafter, we spent a whirlwind couple of months consisting of one-on-one sessions and email exchanges for selecting his most pertinent experiences/reflections, essay critiques, and interview preparations - HL was admitted to IMD.
