| Her Challenge |
| YM is from Myanmar and works as an accountant in Singapore. She has a diploma in architecture and design but did not pursue it as a career. She wanted to pursue a general MBA in order to build the right skills before returning to Myanmar to run her family business in real estate and construction. She was not confident in connecting her past experiences to her future plans and communicating this to the NUS Admission Committee. |
| |
| How We Helped |
| We first worked on her GMAT for 3 months, improving her results by over 100 points to achieve a competitive score. In parallel we helped articulate her short, medium, and long term goals such that she was confident and able to begin with her essay drafts. Subsequently we worked closely with her on choosing her references and drafting a professional resume. Lastly, we worked as a team, conducting multiple interview prep sessions focussing on the different aspects of her presentation. All the hard work we put in over a period of 3 months came to fruition as she received offers from both NUS and NTU MBA. After much deliberation – YM chose the NUS MBA due to her ability to focus on real estate as part of her MBA program. |

| His Challenge |
|
CY Studied accountancy at NTU and was working in a corporate secretarial firm managing clients and his juniors. He wanted to get into marketing but felt his experiences were very much 'one-track'. He hoped to do a local MBA program and was very keen on the new SMU program. He wanted to show his versatility which may not be obvious from his work experience.

| |
| How We Helped |
|
We spent a lot of time brainstorming his leadership experiences from both work and school. His company was small, hence no opportunity for him to manage a dozen staff. However, we soon discovered that he was great at developing relationships with and guiding clients. Working with us over 4 weeks on his essays, he realized that he had a lot to offer to SMU (much more than he realized at first). We completed his application and he was accepted to SMU after a round of interviews.

| How We Helped |
|
|
Upon taking on KY as a client, we worked comprehensively on both his GMAT and MBA Admissions preparation. His challenge was to package the variety of activities he had been involved with into a coherent application pack. We worked closely on his resume, essays, reference choices, and interview preparation. After a solid month of intensive work, he submitted an extremely strong application to NTU which he accepted.
